Managing complex documents can be time consuming and tricky, especially when they have to be assembled from different sources. Usually the difficulties surface when deadlines approach and you discover that the different chapters you have to assemble are incompatible in important ways.
Planning the document in advance and providing each participant in the project with compatible templates can help avoid such deadline crises. I have broad experience in developing templates in Word, WordPerfect, FrameMaker, and even Word Pro that enable team members to work together harmoniously throughout the process of preparing lengthy reports and other complex documents.
